Blake Griffin
ImageBlake Griffin is from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, 6' 10" tall, and renowned high school career at Oklahoma Christian School, winning state titles each of his four years while his father was also the head coach of his team. He played college basketball for the University of Oklahoma Sooners and was awarded abundant accolades in his second year including the Naismith College Player of the Year, Oscar Robertson Trophy and the John Wooden Award. Giffin left college after two seasons to enter the 2009 NBA Draft where he was chosen first overall by the Clippers.

He missed the entire 200910 season due to surgery on his broken left kneecap, which he injured during the final pre-season game. He made his NBA introduction as a rookie the following season and was selected as an All-Star, won the 2011 NBA Slam Dunk Contest and was named the NBA Rookie of the Year. He has established himself as a complex player. He is well known for his capability to rebound the ball averaging 12.1 rebounds per game. He has also demonstrated as an altruistic player and passes out of the double team averaging 3.8 assists per game and had at least 10 assists twice in the 201011 season. He is frequently able to get to the free throw line but like many power forwards and centers he has a low free throw conversion percentage.

Griffin's ability to score is devastating with 22.5 points per game in his rookie year with already two 40-point games.
